How We Research

Research, interpretation and testing are different evidence

Our current launch collection is research-based. We read official product and pricing material, identify the intended job and develop an evaluation a reader can repeat. A proposed workflow is labeled as a proposal. An illustrative calculation states its assumptions. We do not claim a trial, benchmark, customer result or interview that did not take place.

Source hierarchy

Use current vendor product documentation, pricing pages and help material for factual capabilities and limits. Keep platform listings where they are the authoritative product page. Marketing performance claims are vendor claims and do not become our observed results.

Pricing

Record the check date, currency, billing interval and selected allowance when an exact price is readable. Distinguish annual equivalents from monthly billing and temporary promotions from ongoing fees. When interactive or restricted pages prevent a reliable quote, link the current official source and explain the required billing units.

Editorial judgment

Fit, tradeoffs, proposed acceptance criteria and buying positions are our analysis. They depend on the stated scenario. A product can be suitable for one job and unsuitable for another without being universally good or bad.

Hands-on evidence

An article may be labeled as tested only when we can describe the actual account, task, date, input, output and limitations. Until that evidence exists, the article remains research-based. No aggregate star score or personal experience is invented.

Illustrations

Our covers are original explanatory diagrams. They are not product screenshots, interface reproductions or evidence that a vendor supplied an asset.

Comparisons

Use equivalent tasks and explicit assumptions. Identify complementary products and do not force different operating layers into a false winner table.

Commercial independence

Commission does not determine the editorial recommendation. Ordinary official links are used unless a real, approved referral destination has been supplied and verified. Affiliate links must be identified near the recommendation and carry the appropriate link attributes.

Corrections and updates

Check factual sources again when a claim changes. Retain first-live deployment records separately from editorial publication dates, and label material updates with their actual dates. A check date is not a guarantee that a future price will remain the same.
